If you've never sat center ice before, you're missing out. You can see every angle of the ice from every seat and get super close to the players and action. There is no section in the Xcel that could make you feel more a part of the game. Section 104, rows 1 and 2 will get you next to the penalty box which is pretty cool. The benches are obviously across the ice and you have a great view of them; so much better than actually sitting behind the benches. I've sat in the 200s and the club level before and these beat those seats any day. Of course, you're going to have to empty your wallet a little bit to sit here, Wild games are not cheap and if you want to drink, you're looking at upwards of $10 for a beer.
If you want food other than Xcel's typical stadium grub, check out Iron Range Bar and Grill, great place to eat and drink before the game and it's in the arena on the first level.
