My seats for the Hurricanes-Islanders game last season were in row H which was one of the middle rows. The rows are a little narrow for my preference and the stairs are as steep as can be. I definitely didn't like the cramped feeling I got from this section. Plus, the ceiling hangs extremely low compared to other hockey venues.
Like other NHL arenas, I've been to the RBC Center several times- it's a great venue and fun way to spend an evening even if you're not a hardcore hockey fan.
Now called PNC Arena, it offers lots of amazing seating options and nearly all offer a great view. Perhaps, the biggest thing I can give RBC props on is maintaining their audio & visual equipment. The jumbo tron in upper center is spectacular and features crystal clear display.
