To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 317, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Bulls/Detroit Pistons game at the United Center.
As you get into the 300s (the highest level), you start getting pretty far from the action on the floor, obviously. A friend of mine has a business skybox at center court that sits in row 17.
The seats take a while to get to, and it looks like you're playing NBA 2K11 from a birds eye view, rather than watching the game. He loves the seats and takes me for free, so I'm not going to complain.
I would sugges if you want to get the ultimate experience from the game, go only as high as the first few rows in the 300 level; you can see the court better and won't have to climb the steep rows.
